WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE FORMA TREATMENT?
The Forma wand is heated to about 109 degrees before it is passed over your face or skin in other areas. For the body treatments, the applicator is larger, and for the face, the applicator is smaller and more delicate. The treatment feels like a hot stone massage. When the wand is passed around more sensitive areas such as the eyes, the heat setting is lowered to avoid any pain.
The treatment takes less than 30 minutes and requires no recovery period, making it a perfect procedure for busy patients who can pop in during lunchtime.

After your treatment, your skin will be red from the heat. This will subside in less than an hour. You can apply a cool pack to your skin, but there is no significant aftercare or recovery time. You will see improvements over time, as Forma achieves incremental benefits over multiple treatments. We recommend a minimum of six treatments.
Depending on the condition of your skin, you may need more or less treatments. Your treatments can be scheduled about one week apart because the RF energy is extremely gentle. Your skin doesn’t need much time to recover between treatments
