WHAT AFTERCARE IS NEEDED?
Directly following the treatment, patients might notice a slight burning sensation and warmth in the treated area. It is recommended to gently cleanse the skin with a soft cleanser for sensitive skin types eight hours post-treatment. For aftercare, utilizing our exclusive Revieve Clinic™ Skincare line is advised. These products are designed to accelerate the healing process while minimizing redness and swelling, all without suppressing the natural inflammatory response. It is crucial to apply a high-SPF sunscreen for a minimum of two weeks after undergoing the treatment.
IS THIS A PAINFUL TREATMENT?
You may experience slight discomfort – immediately after the treatment you can feel a slight itching and short-term burning sensation. Reddening and swelling of the treated area may be visible for a few days after the treatment. This is a normal reaction of the body to the treatment, it does not require special care and will disappear on its own.
As after any treatment involving microneedling of the skin, development of hematomas is possible.
We will do one round of numbing so that there is very minimal discomfort.
